Local agents
When your application is not reachable from the internet, a local agent runs tests on your own machine and reports results back to the dashboard.
- Download the agent from the Agents page.
- Register it with the key shown there.
- Start it. It appears as online in the dashboard.
- Pick Local Agent as the execution mode when you run.
Drift detection is available, verification is not
A local run still flags steps whose wording no longer matches the application, and you can approve or dismiss those suggestions as usual. It does not run the uniqueness check behind Verified Rewrite, so local advisories are always marked Unverified and are never applied automatically.
No AI keys on your machine
The agent never holds an AI provider key. AI calls are routed through the platform, authenticated with the agent's registration key. Any key shipped in a downloadable package can be extracted, so none is.
